The inBassadors are a social group of people like you who enjoy the city and all it has to offer.

As volunteers who know and love the city the inBassadors live and/or work in, they strive to be resources of information; providers of constructive feedback on events in the city; and individuals who can share the story of Wilmington and all it has to offer.

Who are inBassadors?

As part of the city's new image campaign, "Wilmington...In the middle of it all," a group of social networkers, mainly from downtown corporations, has been formed.

The group of outgoing individuals is interested in telling the story of Wilmington and sharing upcoming events, feedback from recently attended events and giving suggestions for other ways to increase the already vibrant social scene in Wilmington.

Mission

The mission of the Council of Community Ambassadors ("inBassadors") is to provide a vehicle for the "people movers" and social networkers of the downtown Wilmington community to coordinate their promotional efforts.

inBassadors will:

  • share ideas for improving the city's happenings
  • assist in spreading the word about community events and programs to their business and social networks
  • share constructive feedback from attended events and programs
  • help develop new initiatives that they feel will appeal to their colleagues, clients, friends and acquaintances.

How do I get involved?

If you are interested in becoming an inBassador and coming to the table with ideas and as well as a willingness to spread the word through your network--contact us!
